Dou is a kind of vessel. A large number of dous are unearthed in relics of the Liang Zhu Culture, so it’s a typical ware of the Liang Zhu period. The shape of these articles changed with time. The plate of this article is round, with the handle in the form of bamboo branches and also two holes on each side--- a product of water country indeed.
