The major part of the object is a jar with round opening and deep stomach with the shape of gates embossed at the opening and four small jars kneaded at the corners. There are a vivid description of a group of Hu people at the lower part playing instruments and acrobatics. The barn jar is the mortuary object at Wei and Jin and South and North Dynasty. The techniques like kneading, embossing and carving have been used to express the complicated shape and rich imagination. The object is maintained well through glazing and is the best of its kind.
