This ware is made from Gaoling clay burning at high temperatures. It has an open mouth with five bowstring patterns on the interior of the mouth edge and print gridlines on its body.  Its sidepiece is well shaped and solid. Its exterior carries a thin layer of steel gray glaze. This ware is primitive porcelain. Such complete primitive porcelain of Shang Dynasty is very rare domestically.
